We’re excited to begin another wonderful year at Stonehaven Elementary School! My name is Nisa Chaudhry, and I’m honoured to serve as Chair of the Stonehaven School Council for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The School Council plays a crucial role in fostering a strong partnership among families, staff, and administration. Together, we work to enhance the learning environment, support student well-being, and foster a strong, inclusive community where every student can thrive.
Our Parent Council is made up of dedicated parents and guardians who collaborate to support our students, staff, and school through fundraising, communication, and community engagement. Our goal is to enhance the learning experience by funding initiatives that enhance the school community.
This year, our priorities include:
- Supporting school events and community-building activities
- Encouraging greater family participation in council initiatives
- Providing input on school priorities and improvement planning
- Exploring new ways to support student well-being and engagement
We believe that when families get involved, our school community grows stronger. Whether you can volunteer your time, share ideas, make a donation, or attend a council meeting, your participation makes a real difference.
